OK. Day eight... but published a week late.

 Well, I was out of town.  Therefore not in my studio and able to paint and publish.  Also yesterday was my spouse’s birthday... so I was celebrating.

There are my reasons for not publishing in the past six days, but I have two paintings to offer.  Both of them deal with light and dark.  One is a city scape with buildings and therefore tables perspective.  One of my challenges.

Day One of daily painting.

 Recently I read the book on Daily Painting, and have decided to challenge myself to complete this task.  I am trying to focus on Value, and Color choices.  But am also concerned with improving my drawing skills. I think like a lot of us, I am a natural procrastinator.  I ended up having fun half way through this process, and was encouraged by that.  I will go back tomorrow and work on a new painting. This painting was done in acrylics. And it is about 7.5”x5.25”.

 Hi there.  Well... watercolor today with my friends.  Before Covid we all got together bi weekly.  During the Covid year we met on a limited basis.  But guess what?  We are all vaccinated now!  So Yippee!  We still wore our masks but we felt safer.
